“…not every trip around the sun is going to be a creative banger…”

My 2021 portfolio is easily one of my best years in photography. From my project on Traversing the Cowboy Trail to visiting the town I grew up in to really starting to focus on Grain Elevators I was at a high point. After twenty years not every trip around the sun is going to be a creative banger, but considering this was the height of the pandemic I was very fortunate to have made so many memorable images, a few of which hung on my wall for years.

It’s funny because personally it was one of my worst years, as I’m sure it was for a lot of people, but from an artistic angle it was the opposite.
